In 2003, David Ashen founded dash design with the ambition of using his innovative and strategic creative thinking to enhance the success of his clients. Ashen’s market-savvy approach combines business acumen and a keen design eye. Ashen has more than two decades of industry experience in multidisciplinary design and branding, and a deep familiarity with the hospitality and retail sectors. Awards for dash’s work include Rising Star in Interior Design (Fashion Group International), One of Ten to Watch (New York Magazine), Retail Store of the Year for Godiva (Specialty Food Category/Chain Store Age), and 1st Place in Home Goods (VM&SD; International Store Design Competition).

Ashen earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Factors Engineering at Tufts University and a Masters of Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania.
