Architect and columnist Yu Ting received his bachelor of architecture from the Tsinghua University Department of Architecture before obtaining a Ph.D. in architectural design and theory from Tongji University. In addition to serving as chief architect of Wutopia Lab, Ting also cofounded Let’s Talk, an urban micro-space revival plan.

Wutopia Lab has won numerous international awards and citations for design excellence, including Architectural Record Vanguard Firm 2018, ICONIC AWARDS 2018: Innovative Architecture – Best of Best for Eight Tenth Garden, the Best of Year Award for Metal Rainbow and Aranya kid’s restaurant.
